Academic Integrity Module

In early 2023, I led the development of an Academic Integrity & Citation Awareness Module, a self-paced, multimodal resource designed to help students understand and uphold the values of academic integrity. The module engages learners through scenarios, videos, and interactive activities to illustrate what integrity looks like in scholarly work, common forms of misconduct, and strategies for avoiding academic pitfalls– including proper APA citation practices.

Students also gain awareness of key library and college resources to support their academic journey. Faculty can easily embed the module into their LMS course sites, supported by a detailed instructor guide.

Since its launch, the module has been accessed more than 29,500 times and embedded in over 400 courses. Licensed under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, the module is freely available for adaptation and reuse.
